Project Ten | Simple | December 2014

This is my second month participating in the Project Ten Challenge. I was excited to join the group because it’s run by a very talented college friend, and because the idea of shooting my interpretation of a theme seemed like a good exercise each month.

Well, this month I feel like I’m back in photography class with Casey….muddling my way through a project. I had an idea that required using colored gels in a way that I have never tried before….and in my head it was this gorgeous, colorful, minimalist set of images. There wasn’t a lot of time to be spent trying to figure out all the technical problems I was having, so I stopped with what you see here. But! I love the idea that the Project Ten Challenge has inspired and I’m determined to keep working on this until it matches the lovely images that are in my head ;)

Steph is also in the group, and this month she has come up with a set of lovely wintery whites and textures - you should take a peek :)
