This is the kind of image that my giant mish-mosh of a 4x5 is capable of taking! Finally! Aside from the portraits I took of Xander and Mike a while ago, this is the only one since then that hasn’t been riddled with issues. I even developed it myself, thank you very much.
So, Fuji 100 Acros is a definite win with this camera. 4 out of the 6 shots that I took turned out just fine! Through all of the trial and error the strengths and weaknesses of this camera are finally becoming apparent. In shots, like this, where there is a great deal of negative space the tones seem to mottle, which I don’t necessarily mind….it’s a pretty consistent characteristic of the camera. I love the portraits that it takes, where the mottling is less apparent and the antique glow is fantastic.
 Yay!
