Ypsi Project : Brenna Maloney (via ericarhiannon )
A few weeks ago while searching for things related to Ypsi I came across Brenna’s blog , I Think I Love You Michigan . It’s a great blog full of all kinds of interesting and overlooked things in Michigan. I also found out that she lives in Ypsi, is a graduate student at EMU and has work published in CAMAS Journal of the west and PANK magazine. After coming across her site I sent Brenna an email telling her about my project and lucky me she was nice enough to agree to let me photograph her. We met up and poked around the Peninsular Paper Mill generator house. While climbing on a tiny little ledge and watching Brenna jump over a large gap (a gap that housed a one story drop to the Huron River below) I started to wonder if I should have had her sign some sort of release form before we started :P I’m glad that I got to meet Brenna today-she became another on a growing list of amazingly nice people that I’m meeting because of this project.
