Ypsi Project : Matt (via ericarhiannon )
I contacted Matt after Brenna ( whom I photographed a few days ago) suggested him for the Ypsi Project. We met up at Bombadill’s and chatted for a bit while I snapped a few photos. Matt is from Ohio, living here in Ypsi and studying at EMU. His blog is here and is full of an amazing array of thoughtful and intelligent posts. Matt has also done extensive research on the Black Civil War soldiers that are buried in Highland Cemetary. I found his post on the subject fascinating. He hopes to one day research all of the soldiers so they are documented in history. Personally, I can’t wait to read more of what he finds…. I don’t know what else to say about Matt- he strikes me as a man with a wealth of knowledge and patience.
