Ypsi Project : Pappou Nicholas and Demetrios (via ericarhiannon )
While on a bike ride today I passed by a man and two young boys. I turned around and decided to ask if I could photograph them for the YP. Obviously, they agreed. Nicholas and his daughter Vasilia were so friendly, inquisitive and open about themselves. We only were able to chat for a minute before the boys became bored and their infant sister needed some attention too. Nicholas Beltsos, or Pappou moved from Dearborn to Ypsilanti in 1967. His son was five and his daughter, Vasilia, was yet to be born. Nicholas was a professor of Economics at EMU. Pictured here are Nicholas and grandson Demetrios.
