Ypsi Project: Victoria Weeber (by ericarhiannon )
Tory and I had photography class together at EMU way back in 2008. I always loved her work and the occasional textiles she would bring to the studio to photograph for her other (just guessing-probably textile) class. For whatever reason I thought she was living somewhere other than Ypsi and when I found out otherwise I badgered her into until she finally agreed to meet with me :) We met at the Ugly Mug where I had some terrible coffee and learned that Tory is from Palmyra and came to Ypsi to attend EMU. She has since graduated with a BFA and in her spare time makes these fanciful little terrariums and dish gardens. You can check out Soiled here and her photography here . After a brief stint in Ann Arbor she moved back to Ypsi….lack of pretense and art/music scene being the main reasons for returning.
